The ‘epic’ Kent coastal walk one hour from London
In an Instagram post, Zoe shared: “This is the Folkestone to Dover Coastal Walk.”
Adding that you need to “head to London St Pancras and buy a return ticket for the high-speed train to Dover.
“Then get off one stop early in Folkestone. Journey time 55 minutes.
“Then head to the coast and then turn left, keep going, and you’ll pass by this horn, then through the warren following the signs for the coast path.
“It’s then a chunky uphill and your legs will hurt, but once you reach the top, it’s pretty level walking.”
Zoe adds: “As you follow the coast with all the views, you’ll pass by a sound mirror, which was used to detect energy aircraft during the war.
“Before reaching this really fun trial along the cliff side, it can be a bit windy along here.”
Later on the walk, Zoe shares: “Later, after a bit more walking, you’ll reach Dover, where you can get in the sea to cool off.”
