The Crystal Maze Experience in London opened its long-awaited Ocean Zone today (January 19, 2026), recreating the underwater world from the original series.
A reimagined Victorian-era submarine sits at the heart of the new zone.
Teams step through the entry hatch onto the command bridge, then head deeper into the vessel.
Matthew Stubbs, head of creative at Little Lion Entertainment, said: “The Ocean Zone has been one of the most requested additions from fans of the original show, so we wanted to honour that while creating something that feels entirely new.
“Every detail has been designed to add to the experience’s sense of immersion and excitement, with challenges that test teamwork, timing, and decision-making like never before.
“It feels unmistakably like what regular guests of the Crystal Maze have come to know and love but brought to life through a new lens.”
Players tackle challenges in linked chambers that demand quick decisions and tight teamwork.
Digital portholes show shadowy blue depths outside as teams pass vintage maritime charts and working periscopes.
The Ocean Zone builds on The Crystal Maze Experience’s immersive team challenge format.
The London attraction lets visitors explore a fully themed world inspired by the cult TV show.
It blends nostalgia with fresh storytelling, giving long-time fans and first-timers a reason to come back.
Tickets are available to book online via the official website.
