In a statement, the company advised that residents living in Carslake Road (SW15) may have experienced low or no water this morning due a burst water main in Carslake Road.
Thames Water advised that specialists had isolated the flow of water with emergency repairs currently underway to fix the issue.
However, the provider advised that there were delays due to needed repairs to the electricity supply.
In a statement Thames Water said: “We’ve been working with UKPN who were required on site to complete emergency repairs to the electricity supply for this area which has now been completed.
“However, there is a further electricity cable which is delaying the repair, which we need to make sure is safe before we can commence any further.”
Water tankers were despatched to the area to help facilitate water supplies this morning and bottled water is also being delivered to the area.
Residents are being advised by Thames Water to potentially expect low pressure with their water until the issue is resolved, with a further update expected at 1pm.
