Belvedere – Water mains replacement on Parkside Road
In Belvedere, Parkside Road will be closed from Stanmore Road to Poplar Mount from April 17 so that Thames Water can replace water mains.
The work is being carried out by Morrisons Water Services on behalf of Thames Water.
Several side roads will also be affected, with no vehicle access at their junctions with Parkside Road.
These include Stanmore Road, Gordon Road, Ashburnham Road, Mayfield Road, Bullbanks Road, Beltwood Road and Poplar Mount.
Gladeswood Road will also be closed from outside number 8 to the junction with Halt Robin Road.
The order allows the closures to stay in place for up to 18 months, though the works are expected to take around 58 days.
No alternative vehicle routes will be available during the works, though emergency access will still be allowed.
Belvedere – Temporary closure of Boevey Path
Also in Belvedere, Boevey Path will be closed to pedestrians for one day from April 14 while BT and Sunbelt Rentals carry out utility asset works.
The closure covers a 30-metre stretch of the path west of number 2.
A pedestrian diversion will be available via Osborne Road and Croft Close.
Sidcup – Gas mains replacement on Old Farm Avenue
In Sidcup, Old Farm Avenue will be closed in three sections from April 17 as Southern Gas Networks replaces gas mains.
The work is being carried out by JDT Utilities on their behalf.
Closures will be in place between Longmeadow Road and Hollies Avenue, between Hollies Avenue and Old Farm Road West, and from outside number 2 to Old Farm Road West.
The closures are expected to last around seven weeks, although the order remains valid for 18 months.
Diversion routes will be signposted and access for residents will be maintained via Hollies Avenue.
Welling – Short closure for water works on Lyme Road
In Welling, part of Lyme Road will be shut from April 22 for repair and maintenance works to the road and pavement near 12 Okehampton Crescent.
The work will be carried out by Morrison Water Services on behalf of Thames Water.
The closure will affect around 20 metres of Lyme Road from the junction with Okehampton Crescent, and is expected to last up to six days.
Diversion routes will be in place using local roads including Tor Road, Axminster Crescent and Upper Wickham Lane.
