Suwanthonx Limited has submitted an application to the London Borough of Merton for a premises licence at Chilli and Lime, 132 Kingston Road, SW19 1LY.
The site was formerly home to Hi Bangkok.
The application was listed on the public notice portal.
If approved, the licence would allow the restaurant to sell alcohol from Monday to Sunday between 12pm and 10.30pm.
The venue, which highlights “authentic Thai recipes passed down through generations” and a “warm and inviting setting”, is aiming to bring a true taste of Thailand to the local community.
Anyone wishing to comment on the application can make written representations to the council’s Licensing Section at Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX, or by emailing licensing@merton.gov.uk.
