Starting Saturday, February 22, 2025, several London bus routes will undergo timetable updates to improve service frequency and reliability.
Whether you’re a regular commuter or an occasional traveller, these changes will impact routes across the city, from increased daytime frequency to revised schedules reflecting current traffic conditions.
Routes like the 8, 25, and 31 will see enhanced service, while others, like the 276 and 487, will adjust timings to better suit current traffic patterns.
There are also additional school day-only journeys on Route 499.
Here are all the London bus changes from Saturday (February 22):
- Route 8 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the service restored to running through to Bow Church
- Route 25 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency restored to every 7-8 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 10 minutes during the evenings and on Sundays
- Route 31 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency restored to every 10 minutes during the daytime and every 12 minutes during the evening on all days of the week
- Route 187 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency restored to every 15 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 20 minutes during the evenings and all day on Sundays
- Route 205 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency restored to every 10 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 12 minutes during the evenings and on Sundays
- Route 233 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times
- Route 260 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency restored to every 12 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 15 minutes during the evenings and on Sundays
- Route 275 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with journey times revised to better reflect current traffic levels
- Route 276 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency restored to every 12 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays, every 15 minutes during the daytime on Sundays and every 20 minutes during the evening on all days of the week
- Route 487 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with the frequency restored to every 12 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 20 minutes during the evenings and all day on Sundays
- Additional school day only journeys introduced on route 499 departing Gallows Corner at 7.40am and from Heath Park Estate at 2.35pm
- Route R70 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with journey times revised to better reflect current traffic levels.
