It has once again been a violent weekend, with major knife crime incidents over Friday (October 24) to Sunday (October 26).
This includes knife incidents in Islington and Surbiton, as well as a death days a stabbing in Clapham.
Information about each incident is from the Metropolitan Police and based on what Newsquest London is aware of.
Rinneau Perrineau, known as Ren by his family and friends, was stabbed on Tuesday (October 21) at around 3.26pm on Lavender Hill in Clapham.
His condition deteriorated and he later died from his injuries in hospital on Friday (October 24).
In a statement Ren’s family said he was “loved by many” and would be “dearly missed”.
Muhammed Cabdiqaadir, 25, of Hope Street, Wandsworth was charged with murder and possession of a bladed object yesterday (October 26).
Police were called to Sunnyside Road around 3pm yesterday (October 25).
No casualties could be located at the scene but officers were later called to hospital where a man had taken himself in with stab wounds.
The man, aged 22, is in a life-changing medical condition.
Police arrested a 15-year-old on suspicion of attempted murder and he remains in custody.
A man was taken to hospital after a stabbing in North Road, near Surbiton station at around 2pm on Sunday (October 26).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man injured.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to a hospital in London.
The air ambulance landed in nearby Victoria Recreation Ground to provide assistance.
The condition of the man is not known at this stage – nor if there have been any arrests.
