Police were called to Tanfield Avenue yesterday (July 7) at 9pm to reports of gunshots fired.
Medics also rushed to the scene and treated the man before taking him to hospital.
His condition is unknown at this time, but we have contacted the Metropolitan Police for more information.
The road is closed near the junction of Randall Avenue and near Crest Road.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 9pm on Monday 7 July to reports of a shooting on Tanfield Avenue, NW2.
“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and paramedics from our tactical response unit. We also dispatched a trauma team in a car from London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated a man for gunshot wounds and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
