Table Twenty Three Ltd is set to be the latest new business to open in Corbets Tey Road.
It has acquired property number 23 along the road, replacing the former Hannah’s Bakery business.
The restaurant will serve modern British cuisine but “with a twist”, promising to reimagine classic dishes, from 7am to 11pm daily.
This will include breakfast, lunch and dinner items, with particular emphasis on fresh, seasonal British ingredients.
According to a spokesperson for Table Twenty Three Ltd, they are “proud to operate with an electric-only kitchen—no gas—creating a cleaner, more sustainable dining experience for our customers”.
The restaurant has also revealed the inspiration behind its name.
Whilst the numerical aspect may seem rather obvious given its address at number 23 Corbets Tey Road, there is a deeper meaning.
They wrote: “The name Table Twenty Three holds personal and meaningful significance.
“The number 23 refers to the address of the restaurant—23 Corbets Tey Road—and reflects the place where our vision is coming to life.

“The ‘Table’ part of the name represents the idea of bringing people together, whether for a quick bite or a long, leisurely meal.
“It’s an invitation to book a table at 23 Corbets Tey Road, to enjoy great food, share experiences, and create lasting memories.”
The venture is understood to have begun with just two owners, which has now evolved into a team of three.
