The London Ambulance Service was called just after 10am today (January 13) to reports of a crash on Sydenham Road.
An ambulance crew, a paramedic and an incident response officer attended the scene.
The woman was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital as a priority.
Sydenham Road is currently closed both ways at Highclere Street.
Bus routes 94 202 356 and 450 are on diversion.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 10.04am today (13 January) to reports of a road traffic collision on Sydenham Road, SE26.
“We sent resources including an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic and an incident response officer.
“We treated a woman at the scene and took her to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
