Data from the British Transport Police has revealed that more crimes were committed at Sutton station than at any other train station in Sutton.
From January 2024 to December 2025, a total of 54 offences were committed at Sutton station.
This was slightly more than the total number of offences in 2023, which was 46, just eight less than in 2024.
10 of these crimes were violent or sexual offences.
March and June 2024 saw the most of these offences, with nine committed each month.
An estimated 12,305 passengers pass through Sutton station each day, making it the busiest station in the borough as well.
In 2024, Sutton Common and West Sutton station were the “safest” places, with no crimes committed or reported.
