Sutton planning applications include demolition of car park

Among them, a property at 34 Avenue Road, Belmont, has sought prior approval for a single-storey rear extension, projecting six metres from the original house. (Ref.No: DM2025/00684)

Another proposal, at 32A Sandringham Road, Worcester Park, involves the erection of a two-storey side extension. (Ref. No: DM2025/00675)

The former 53 Malden Road, Cheam, is seeking to clear condition six (as-built SAP outputs) of an approved application from 2020. (Ref. No: CLC2025/00081)

A non-material amendment request has been submitted for 8 Fairlands Avenue, Sutton, involving alterations to the roof and fenestrations of a previously approved single-storey rear extension. (Ref.No: DM2025/00663)

In Worcester Park, at 24 Ruskin Drive, a plan for a single-storey front extension and fenestration alterations is under consideration. (Ref. No: DM2025/00662)

An application to clear conditions related to access and drainage has been filed for 156-160 Beddington Lane, Beddington. (Ref. No: CLC2025/00080)

A proposal for a single-storey outbuilding has been lodged for 29 Windborough Road, Carshalton. (Ref. No: DM2025/00656)

A general parking area at 120 Beddington Lane, Beddington, is awaiting prior notification for demolition. (Ref. No: DM2025/00657)

Planning permission is being sought for a conversion of loft space, involving a dormer extension at the rear and roof lights to the front roof slope at 70 Onslow Gardens, Wallington. (Ref. No: DM2025/00661)

At 16 Shrewsbury Road, Carshalton, prior approval is being requested for a single-storey rear extension, projecting four metres from the original house. (Ref. No: DM2025/00655)

A similar loft space conversion plan, along with the removal of a rear chimney, is being considered for 31 Sparrow Farm Road, Stoneleigh. (Ref. No: DM2025/00641)

Tree work is also on the agenda, with an application at 7 The Park, Carshalton, for the trimming and removal of branches from a sweet chestnut tree. (Ref. No: TREE2025/00038)

Beddington Sewage Treatment Works has submitted a non-material amendment to a previous application, involving changes to a combined heat and power pipe routing and provision of ancillary pipeline and structures. (Ref. No: DM2025/00613)

An outbuilding is proposed for 13 Westminster Road, Sutton. (Ref.No: DM2025/00595)

In Worcester Park, a mini cab office at 22 and 22A Cheam Common Road is set to be transformed into a coffee shop, along with a rear extension, shop front alterations, and loft conversion. (Ref. No: DM2025/00589)

77 Tonfield Road, Sutton, and 213 Longfellow Road, Worcester Park, have both submitted applications for single-storey rear extensions. (Ref. No: DM2025/00583, DM2025/00394)

39 Hackbridge Road, Hackbridge, is awaiting approval for a loft conversion, involving a dormer extension at the rear and roof lights to the front roof slope. (Ref. No: DM2025/00553)

Lastly, an application has been submitted for the conversion of 86 Church Hill Road, North Cheam, into two self-contained flats. (Ref. No: DM2024/01741)

Residents can have their say on these applications by visiting the Sutton Council planning portal.

The council will consider all comments before making a decision.
