Ramel, 22, went missing from his home in Sutton just after midnight last night (December 31).
Police are concerned for the welfare of man, who is autistic and non-verbal and was last seen wearing a green pyjama top in amid cold temperatures.
Ramel’s mother said: “We are very worried, he has not been missing this long before.
“We just want him home.”
Ramel is described as being about 5ft10, of slim build and with short black afro hair.
The force say that Ramel has transport links and may have gone further afield in London.
Detective Inspector Anselm Hartley, who is leading the investigation, said: “Ramal is extremely vulnerable and we are increasingly concerned for his welfare.
“Last night was very cold and temperatures are expected to be low again tonight.
“It is really important that we find him, and we find him quickly.
“If you have seen Ramal or believe you might have information please contact the police immediately.”
