The Metropolitan Police were called at 2.13pm on Saturday, July 21, following reports of an incident at K1 Barbers on the high street.
Paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance also attended the scene, where two men, aged 35 and 26, were found injured.
One of the men was suffering from knife injuries.
Both men were taken to hospital, but their injuries were declared non-life changing and non-life threatening.
The pair have been arrested in connection with the incident, and enquiries are ongoing.
Images from the scene show a smashed window at K1 Barbers, as well as a rag, and a belt on the pavement outside the shop, which appear to be covered in blood.
Blood can also be seen splattered on the pavement.
A member of the public shared an image on social media, which will not be published, showing a man with blood on his face.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 14:13hrs on Monday, 21 July, to reports of a stabbing in Sutton.
“Officers were joined by London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance at a barber shop on the High Street. Two men, aged 35 and 26, were hospitalised – one with knife injuries.
“The men’s injuries have been declared non-life-changing and non-life-threatening, and they have been arrested in connection with the incident.
