The school won the award at the Independent Schools of the Year Awards 2025, an awards ceremony held in central London by The Chelsea Magazine Company, publishers of Independent School Parent.
This year has been a landmark year for the school, which was also shortlisted for the TES Independent School of the Year 2025.
The school was also recently given the rare and prestigious judgement of ‘Significant Strength’, which is reserved for schools that go above and beyond under the new ISI framework, and has been welcomed into the HMC community of leading independent schools.

The school is now looking forward to the completion of its brand-new, 18,000 sq. ft Sixth Form Centre, due to open in summer 2026.
Head teacher Beth Dawson said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be recognised as the truly outstanding school we are.
“This award is a testament to the dedication of our staff, the ambition of our students, and the unwavering support of our families.
“Together, we continue to build a school where every girl is empowered to be themselves and thrive.
“It celebrates the joy, courage and excellence that define our community.”
The school also had good academic results in 2025.
91 per cent of A Level students secured their first-choice university, while 86 per cent of A Level pupils achieved A* to B grades, with a 100 per cent pass rate.
At GCSE, 25.6 per cent of grades were 9, five times the national average, while 47.4 per cent were 9/8, and 68.1 per cent were 9–7.
Ms Dawson said: “Our school continues to flourish and grow with our new Sixth Form Centre due for completion in the summer and exciting plans for our Nursery and Prep School under our new head of Prep, Emily Ruiz, who brings energy and leadership to our youngest learners.”
The awards had more than 700 nominations across 24 categories.
Finalists for the London Independent School of the Year included Bancroft’s, Brighton College Prep Kensington, Hampton Court House, Highgate, and Latymer Upper.
The school also has exciting plans for its Nursery and Prep School under the new Head of Prep, Emily Ruiz.
