A notice has been stuck in the shop windows reading, “This store is now closed”.
Inside the store, sale signs advertising 50 per cent of stock could be seen on lines of clothing rails.
It appears that all stock had already been removed from the store, leaving just cardboard boxes and a huge number of clothing hangers.

The reason for the closure of the Romford branch, including the date of its closure, is unclear.
We contacted Superdry for comment but did not hear back.
The store has been listed as “permanently closed” on Google, and has been removed from the list of UK store locations.
