The incident happened between Strood and Paddock Wood earlier today (October 20).
All lines between these stations are currently closed as emergency services work at the scene.
Trains operating through these stations are being cancelled or revised, with replacement buses running between Strood, Maidstone West and Paddock Wood.
Passengers can also use Arriva Buses route 71 between Snodland and Maidstone.
The incident is causing delays to Southeastern services between Strood, Maidstone West and Paddock Wood.
Disruption is expected until 8pm.
