Tonight (December 13), it was Karen Carney and Carlos Gu who topped the Week 12 leaderboard with a combined score of 78.
However, at the bottom was Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon who scored 70.
During the semi-final, the celebrities and their professional dance partners performed two dances each, in the hopes of impressing head judge Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood.

After double the amount of usual routines were completed, here’s what the leaderboard looks like ahead of the next week’s final:
- Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin – 37 (first dance), 40 (second dance) = 77
- Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon – 35, 35 = 70
- George Clarke and Alexis Warr – 35, 37 = 72
- Karen Carney and Carlos Gu – 39, 39 = 78
The above scores are out of 40, with each judge able to give a maximum of 10 per couple, per dance.
Who left Strictly Come Dancing last week?
Former Emmerdale star Lewis Cope has became the latest celebrity eliminated from BBC One competition show last week.
During Sunday-night’s results show (December 7), the actor, 30, found himself in the bottom two alongside Amber and Nikita, following a public vote.
After a dance-off, the judges decided to save Amber and Nikita, who had topped Saturday’s leaderboard (December 6) following their Charleston to Sit Down You’re Rockin’ The Boat from Guys And Dolls.
Lewis and Katya had received 35 points from the judges following their salsa to Dance At The Gym from West Side Story on Saturday.

The last Strictly results show of the year will air tomorrow (December 14) on BBC One and iPlayer at 7.45pm with guest performances from Kylie Minogue and Five.
The Radio Times synopsis reveals: “Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman present the last results show of the contest, as the two couples with the lowest combined scores taking part in the dance-off to determine who will leave – and who will be taking part in next week’s final.
“Kylie Minogue joins the professionals for a special group performance, and there’s also music by Five.”
