Streets Fest took place in Finsbury Park, providing vital services for people experiencing rough sleeping across Haringey and Islington.
The annual event, organised by Haringey and Islington Councils in partnership with Streets Kitchen, focused on delivering practical support and resources in a welcoming, accessible setting.
Cllr Lucia das Neves, Haringey Council’s cabinet member for health, social care and wellbeing, said: “Those experiencing homelessness often face complex health challenges, and initiatives like Streets Fest play a vital role in helping us tackle these issues together.
“Ensuring access to healthcare for everyone is essential, and hosting events in open, public spaces allows us to engage with more people in a way that feels inclusive and approachable.”
The festival-style gathering brought together a range of services in one location, including housing advice, drug and alcohol support, health checks, training and employment services, and tailored support for women.
Cllr Sarah Williams, the council’s deputy leader and cabinet member for housing and planning, said: “It was inspiring to see so many people from different backgrounds come together to support our community.
“Housing is a fundamental right, and here in Haringey we are working hard to make sure everyone in our borough lives in a home that is comfortable, safe and secure.”
