Those living in the Amber, Opal and Ruby Court buildings, part of the Stratford Halo estate, have been moved into temporary accommodation by building owner Notting Hill Genesis (NHG) on “safety grounds”.
It follows an inspection in June this year, which uncovered “cracking” to some of the structural columns.
While those living in a fourth building at the development, Sapphire Court, were told to leave in August, NHG confirmed that that Amber, Opal and Ruby Courts remained safe, as long “temporary propping” was installed.

However, neither this nor any other remediation work has been completed since the summer, leading to the evacuation of around 300 people from 239 properties yesterday (December 10).
NHG said this is not a decision it has “taken lightly”.
A spokesperson for the housing association said: “We are deeply sympathetic to the impact this decision will have on people living in Amber, Opal and Ruby Courts.
“This is a significant undertaking and is a decision we have not taken lightly: however, we hope our residents will understand why we have taken this very difficult decision to ensure their safety.
“Every household affected is already or imminently being moved into suitable homes nearby that they can settle into for some time, as we expect their relocation may be for several months.
“We know what a difficult and unsettling time this has been for everyone, and in particular at this time of year.
“We are continuing to work urgently with our professional advisers to establish what remedial work will be needed so we can provide greater clarity on the length of time people will be out of their homes.
“We hope to have a detailed timeline shortly.”

They added that each household will have a named liaison officer, while residents will also have access to a daily on-site support hub and 24-hour phone and email hotline.
The Stratford Halo development includes the 46-storey tower block Halo Tower, famous for reportedly housing well-known Youtubers, including KSI.
NHG said this building has also been assessed but that “no concerns have been identified” which would require households to be relocated.
