Returning to London Victoria for three days this December, Steam Dreams Rail Co will be bringing back their popular Santa Steam Express rail experience.
Running on Saturday, December 20 and Monday, December 22, this festive favourite invites families on a 90-minute circular steam journey through London — complete with carols, mince pies and a visit from the man in red himself.
Described by organisers as an “interactive travelling theatre”, the journey transforms vintage train carriages into a moving Christmas grotto.
Visitors can expect singing elves, festive storytelling and Santa bearing gifts for the children.
Departures run in the morning, late morning, afternoon and early evening, with prices starting at £55 for a Coach Class ticket, £75 for a Club Class ticket and £600 for a six-person compartment.
The experience will be pulled by a fleet of six different heritage locomotives including famous ones like the Blue Peter, Sir Nigel Gresley, and Britannia.
Tickets for the Santa Steam Express are expected to sell fast, so early booking is highly recommended.
