The Labs Group, which runs Camden Market, is hosting an afternoon of free entertainment in and around Hawley Wharf on Saturday, March 15, ahead of St Patrick’s Day on March 17.
Families, friends and individuals can enjoy live traditional music and dance, soda bread making workshops and children’s arts and crafts sessions.
There will also be Irish-themed face and hand painting, ‘Bridie’ the Irish tea lady stiltwalker, traditional Irish dance displays circus, an interactive Mural, live music and a Bodhran drum master class. The Waterside Food Halls in Hawley Wharf will be serving food from around the world, as ever.

Paul and Seamus O’Brien from the Celtic Sun Flour Bakery will explore the myths, traditions and baking of Irish Soda Bread, with Guiness cake, Barmbrack, and a wide variety of soda breads on display and for sale.
There will be an all-day exhibition, with workshops at 1.30pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm and 4.30pm.
There will also be three free Irish Themed Arts and Crafts sessions for children aged three and above with Anna Heart Art on Saturday, March 15 at 1pm, 3pm and 4pm. Camden is also home to the Irish Centre, a non-profit welfare and advice centre with a large venue in Camden Square showcasing all aspects of Irish culture.
On Saturday at 1pm it is hosting a one-hour Matinee Family Show to mark St Patrick’s Day with music, storytelling and treasure hunts.
Irish folk and world music legends KÍLA, along with storyteller Olivia Armstrong will also perform.
