The incident at the junction of St Marys Lane and Corbets Tey Road was reported to the London Ambulance Service shortly before 9.30am this morning (January 6).
An ambulance crew and incident response officer were dispatched to the scene, alongside paramedics in fast response cars.
The junction has been pictured taped off this afternoon, with a bus appearing to have been involved.
A man was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital as a priority.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 9.27am today (6 January) to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of St Marys Lane and Corbets Tey Road, Upminster.
“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene, paramedics in fast response cars and an incident response officer to the scene.
“We treated a patient at the scene and took him to hospital as a priority.”
