Spread a Smile is now visiting Queen’s Hospital in Romford to bring laughter to as many children as possible in hospitals, hospices and homes up and down the country.
Queen’s joins 37 other NHS hospitals and six hospices already working with the charity which hopes to spread smiles to every seriously ill child in the country.

“Having Spread a Smile visit us has really made a difference to the children,” Queen’s play specialist Caroline Jenkins said. “We are a busy general hospital and the charity’s visits brighten everyone’s day from the children and staff, lifting everyone’s mood.”
Artists help to make the environment more child friendly to cope with anxiety and being in hospital.
They also arrange events for families to spend precious time together away from hospital with outings and day trips.
