Noor Ul Islam, a primary school in Dawlish Road, is the latest building to have been scrawled on with anti-Muslim graffiti.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police were alerted to the criminal damage on January 25, two days after three mosques across east London were also targeted.
The incidents at Leyton Jamai Masjid, High Road, Stratford Islamic Association, Brydges Road, and Al-Birr Mosque in Church Road, Leyton were reported to police on January 23.
A photo of the graffiti written on the the Stratford Islamic Association was shared online, capturing the words “Stop Islam” across the front of the building.
The first of the incidents were reported to police on January 6, at the West Norwood Mosque in Norwood High Street, and the South Norwood Islamic Community Centre in Clifford Road.
A spokesperson for the Met has now confirmed that they will be investigating a potential link between the incidents that are being treated as hate crimes.
As part of their enquiries, officers will examine local CCTV footage and will be stepping up reassurance patrols in affected communities.
Dept Asst Com Jon Savell said: “We understand that Muslim communities will be feeling particularly concerned for their safety following this series of shocking hate crimes.
“Hate has no place on our streets, and tackling it is at the centre of our efforts to make Londoners from all backgrounds and communities feel safe.
“Our local officers will continue to work with community leaders and ensure that a thorough investigation is being conducted”.

The Newham Muslim Forum has called the incidents a “wake-up call”, calling on politicians to act to tackle the “Dangerous, divisive rhetoric targeting Muslims and ethnic minorities”.
The hate crimes have captured the attention of politicians, including the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, Mayor of Newham Rokhsana Fiaz, and Uma Kumaran MP for Stratford and Bow.
