Police were flagged down on South Road at around 2.20am on January 1 after reports of a fight.
Two men were found at the scene after being allegedly attacked by two men with a knife and metal pole.
One man, 27, had stab wounds and the second, 29, had a head injury.
Both were taken to hospital with injuries that have been deemed not to be life-threatening or changing.
A third man, 29, was also injured after he tried to intervene and was treated at the scene.
A 46-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody.
