Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters tackled the blaze in Johnson Street, Southall at around 5.30pm yesterday (January 11).
Videos posted on social media show huge plumes of smoke and flames seen above houses.

About 15 tonnes of waste was alight.
Due to smoke travel from the fire, the Great Western Main Line was partially closed as a precaution.
National Rail said major disruption between London Paddington and Heathrow Terminals and Reading was expected until 11pm.
All services have since returned back to normal.
Crews from Southall, Hayes, Feltham and surrounding fire stations were at the scene.
Firefighters had the fire under control by 8.35pm.
The cause of the blaze is not known at this time.
