The disruption will affect trains from London Waterloo on Saturday (August 30) and Sunday (August 31).
On Saturday, services from London Waterloo to Weybridge via Staines will be revised.
Trains will be diverted between Barnes and Feltham, calling additionally at Richmond and Twickenham, with buses running between Barnes and Feltham via Hounslow.
On Sunday, services from London Waterloo to Woking via Staines will also be revised.
Trains will be diverted between Barnes and Feltham, calling additionally at Richmond and Twickenham, with buses running between Barnes and Feltham via Hounslow.
Afternoon and evening services from London Waterloo to Kingston via Hounslow will not run, with replacement buses operating between Barnes and Twickenham.
South Western Railway warns any passengers travelling in the late evening on early morning to double check their routes, as they may be affected by emergency maintenance work.
In a statement on their website, they say: “Are you travelling late evening or early morning?
“Your journey may be affected by emergency repairs or planned work.
“Please check if you are planning to travel after 2200 (10pm) or before 0530 (5.30am) as buses may replace trains at short notice.”
