South Hampstead cinema ‘attempted rape’: Police investigate

Police are investigating after it’s reported that the woman, in her 30s, was sexually assaulted at around 3.45pm last Wednesday (June 11).

An image has been released of a man who is believed to have left the venue after the incident, walking towards Swiss Cottage.

Police would like to identify this man (Image: Met Police) He is described as in his 40s, around 5ft 6” tall, with a slim build.

The man has dark hair on the sides of his head and was captured on CCTV wearing a North Face coat and glasses.

Anyone who saw or knows the man, or with any information regarding the incident, is asked to contact police on 101 quoting investigation reference 5365/11JUN.
