Terry Knight kicked off the list with a shoutout to Mem’s Cafe on Kings Highway, praising its welcoming vibe and tasty offerings.
Tel Pamps mentioned two local favourites: Maggies, on Lewisham Road, and Bubble and Squeak café, on Baring Road.
Both cafes are small and family-run, and offer warm, welcoming atmospheres paired with homemade, hearty dishes that keep locals coming back for more.
Barbara Hegarty highlighted The Cottage Cafe in Charlton Park, calling it a “great spot for food and drinks at great prices.”
