Sir Terry Wogan’s £3.75 million mansion unable to sell
Listed for £3.75 million, the mansion is 6,500 square feet in Taplow, Buckinghamshire.
It features five reception rooms, a utility room, a pantry, and ensuite bedrooms with views of Windsor Castle.
Outside, the property comes with a landscaped garden, tennis court and a swimming pool.
Despite offering a lot, Sir Terry’s son, Mark, has been left unable to sell the grand property.
Sharing: “We’re a close family, so the kitchen was central to everything. Mum was a fantastic cook.
“Eating and talking around a table was a big part of growing up in the house.”
Adding: “We’d also have some lovely long lunches on the terrace in the summer overlooking mum’s beloved garden. It’s a thing of beauty.
“We’ll miss the house very much. But it’ll make someone a great place to raise a family.”
Mark and his siblings have shared that they have struggled to sell the property, with Mark blaming Chancellor Rachel Reeves’ tax plans that are “killing off the housing market”.
Speaking on Plank of the Week with Mike Graham on TalkTV, Mark said: “It’s interesting how you say Rachel Reeves is killing off the housing market. She’s killed it already.”

Adding that they’ve had zero interest in the property: “You’d think someone would come round, even just out of interest, thinking, ‘Oh, I’d quite like to go round and see Terry Wogan’s house.’
“But no one’s come to see it. No one, not one single person. That’s how dead the economy is. Calling the property ‘a steal”.
Sir Terry Wogan died aged 77 in January 2016 after facing cancer; nine years later, his wife, Lady Helen, passed away, leaving an estate of £5 million.
