It’s reported that the legendary actor will be reuniting with former stars of the sitcom to mark its 45th anniversary next year.
The special documentary is set to include never-before-seen footage from Only Fools and Horses and appearances from stars of the show.
Sir David Jason is planning an Only Fools and Horses reunion
According to The Sun, Sir David is hoping to persuade Nicholas Lyndhurst, Rodney, to take part.
Discussing the Only Fools and Horses reunion, a source told the outlet: “David is well aware of Only Fools’ huge fanbase, so appreciates how much these documentaries will be lapped up.
“He’s looking forward to reminiscing about old times, as well as giving away secrets about the show.
“Having Nicholas on board would be a major coup, too, should he be up for taking part.”
After the success of Only Fools and Horses, Lyndhurst appeared in hit American shows, including the Frasier reboot alongside Kelsey Grammer.
However, it’s reported that conversations are taking place to encourage Lyndhurst to appear in the show.

Sir David appeared as Del Boy alongside Nicholas Lyndhurst as Rodney Trotter and the late Buster Merryfield as Uncle Albert, who passed away in 1999.
Only Fools and Horses attracted millions of viewers and has often been described as one of the best British TV shows, and has even inspired a stage musical based on the characters.
