Broadway was previously taped off between Lion Road and Albion Road after a shooting yesterday (January 4).
Ambulance crews, paramedics and a team from London’s Air Ambulance were dispatched to the scene where they treated two men.
The pair, aged in their 30s, were then taken to hospital.
One of the men, aged 35, was also arrested on suspicion of attempted murder at the scene.
The 30-year-old man treated for a gunshot wound is now in a stable condition, the Met Police has confirmed.
The News Shopper attended the crime scene at 8am today (January 5) and there was no longer a police cordon in place.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police previously told this paper: “On Sunday, 4 January at 02:15hrs, police were called to reports of a shooting on Broadway, Bexleyheath.
“Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service who treated a 30-year-old man for a gunshot wound before taking him to hospital.
“We await an update on his condition.
“A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder at the scene.
“He was taken to hospital due to his injuries.”
