The fire broke out at the residential care home in Elgin Close at around 2.45pm yesterday (January 21).
Firefighters attended and the man was found in a first-floor flat that was damaged by the blaze.
He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.
Another two people were treated at the scene by the London Ambulance Service and taken to hospital.
11 calls were taken about the fire and crews from Hammersmith, Chiswick and Kensington fire stations responded.
The incident was over at 4.45pm.
The care home lies is located just off Goldhawk Road and enables residents over the age of 55 to live independently with access to 24/7 on-site care and support.
The London Fire Brigade said the cause of the fire is under investigation.
