The incident happened in Mount Harry Road at its junction with the A225 Dartford Road, Sevenoaks, at 1.24pm on August 12.
The man was crossing the road when he was hit by a red Mazda 2.
The driver stopped at the scene, and the victim was taken to hospital.
He later died in hospital on August 20.
An investigation has now been launched by Kent police, with officers asking any witnesses or people with dash cam footage to come forward.
