Fredi Reviro, 75, is understood to have been a Bulgarian national, the Metropolitan Police said.
He was taken to hospital in a critical condition after reports of an assault at Seven Sisters Road, near the junction of Holloway Road, on Thursday (February 27).
However, he died the day after on Friday (February 28).
Three teenage girls – aged 14, 16 and 17 – have been charged with manslaughter.
They were originally arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, but were charged with manslaughter following his death.
The girls will appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court on Monday (March 3).
