Seven injured in London after stabbings, shooting and fight

The five incidents unfolded in just one horrific day on Wednesday (May 21) in Uxbridge, Kilburn, Dalston and New Addington.

This only includes incidents that Newsquest London is aware of and has reported on.

Information about each incident is from the Metropolitan Police.

Police were called to a reports of an alleged fight on a 427 bus on Wednesday (May 21) at 12am near Uxbridge Road and Harlington Road.

Two men, both aged 18, had stab injuries, with one of the men considered to have life-changing injuries.

The two were arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.

Officers were called to Ridley Road at around 7.40am on Wednesday (May 21) following reports of  a fight.

The man was found injured and was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as critical.

Two men, 32 and 36, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

Two men, both aged 18, were found with stab injuries just before 1.50pm on Wednesday (May 21) in Buckley Road near Streatley Road.

Their injuries were later assessed as neither life-threatening nor life changing.

No arrests have been made.

A short distance away from the two stabbed after the alleged “fight on bus”, another stabbing occurred in Uxbridge on the same day (May 21).

Police were called to Kingston Lane and Topping Lane, by Brunel University campus, at 5.45pm and a man was treated for several wounds.

His injuries are non-life threatening, and police believe that this is an “isolated incident”.

A shooting occurred in Walsh Crescent, New Addington, just before 7.30pm yesterday (May 21).

A man in his 30s was taken to hospital for treatment ,where his injuries were assessed as non life threatening.

No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue.
