The incident occurred when the moped crashed into a bus stop in Selhurst Road at around 3.30pm on April 10.
According to police, the moped was being pursued by officers after failing to stop amid suspicions that it was a stolen vehicle.
Selhurst Road was closed in both directions for the evening following the incident, with a picture showing emergency services present.

A 17-year-old boy who had been riding the moped was injured alongside a member of the public.
Both were taken to hospital where their injuries have been deemed as non-life changing.
The teenager has now been arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs, going equipped to steal, and aggravated vehicle taking.
Enquiries are underway.
A Met spokesperson said: “At approximately 15:30hrs on Thursday, 10 March a moped was in collision with a bus stop in Selhurst Road, SE25.
“At the time of the collision the moped was being pursued by police for failing to stop, as it was suspected to be a stolen vehicle.
“The rider of the moped – a 17-year-old boy – and a member of the public have been taken to hospital. Their injuries have been deemed non-life changing.
“The 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion possession of controlled drugs, going equipped to steal and aggravated vehicle taking.

“Enquiries into the circumstances continue.

The London Ambulance Service has been contacted for a comment.
