Rebecca Pells and her daughter Shannon Wilderspin have opened the doors to The Beauty of Aesthetics clinic in Hog Hill Road.
The duo held an open event on the evening of Saturday March 8 where they welcomed new and existing customers in to look around the shop.
“It was a great evening,” Rebecca, known as Becky, said.
“A lot of people thought the place was really nice and that it has been done to a really high standard.
“People were amazed by it.

Talking to the Recorder before the open evening, Becky said that they would be going “all out” to impress and they rolled out a red carpet and decorated the venue with balloons.
She previously described the opening of the salon as “a massive achievement”, after she said she had survived an abusive relationship.
“We’ve both struggled in past life”, Becky said.
“We are ecstatic to get the business off the ground and welcome new faces as well as our returning clients.”
Becky described opening the shop as a massive achievement for herself and Shannon (Image: The Beauty of Aesthetics) Becky confirmed that the shop is now fully functional and they are enjoying their first week of operations.
The shop will be open 9am-6pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and 12am-8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It will be closed on Sundays.
Becky said these were “standard opening times as things stand” but may change depending on Shannon organising childcare.
“We’ve gone for a luxurious theme because we are a high-end clinic,” said Becky.
“We’ve used a lot of creams, golds and neutral colours.

The duo offer aesthetic training to beauticians but are now expanding to offer beauty training courses for the likes of nails, waxing, eyelashes and massages.
Becky said people can expect herself and Shannon to be “very friendly and outgoing”.
“We will be offering walk-in appointments now we are in the shop but we also encourage anybody to pop in to say hi and have a look around,” she said.
“We hope people will come in and see us and stay up to date with us.”
