Haringey: Suspension and Relocation of Parking Bays for Utility Works
The London Borough of Haringey will enforce temporary traffic orders for a range of works including utility repairs, bridge inspection, telecom installation, and electrical works in 2026.
Details for each street are as follows:
Lymington Avenue N22: Electrical works from January 7 to January 16. The disabled bay outside number 233 will be relocated to number 300. No parking, waiting, loading, or unloading at any time.
Green Lanes N4: Bridge inspection from January 12 to January 19, carried out overnight between 11pm and 5am. Parking will be suspended outside numbers 75 to 81. Backup dates for these works are January 16 to January 21.
Dukes Avenue N10: New water connection from January 13 to January 21, with the suspension of parking from numbers 160 to 168.
Coney Hatch Lane N10: Telecom works from January 26 to January 28, from 8am to 5pm, with parking suspended from outside numbers 106 to 108.
Coppetts Road N10: Disconnection work on January 17 and January 18, with a 24-hour suspension of parking between numbers 18 and 36 and between lamp columns CT5/S and CT7/S.
Coppetts Road N10 (St Matthews Court): New water connection on January 10 and January 11. Parking will be suspended along the entire length outside St Matthews Court.
Mount Pleasant Road N17: Electrical works from January 6 to January 8, with parking suspended outside numbers 183 to 191.
Ferme Park Road N8: New water connection from January 14 to January 22. Parking will be suspended outside numbers 46 to 56, 39 to 43, and 34. The disabled bay outside number 50 will be relocated to numbers 60 to 62.
Alexandra Avenue / Alexandra Park Road N22: To provide safe working area for the engineers for new duck in the footway from January 19 to January 22, between 9.30am and 3.30pm. Suspension of parking on Alexandra Park Road junction with Alexandra Avenue from 259 to 281 on both sides of the road, and on Alexandra Park Road to number 3 Alexandra Avenue on both sides of the road.
Marlborough Road N22: New water connection from January 12 to January 20. Parking will be suspended outside numbers 41 to 51, 46 to 50, and 54 to 56.
Spur Road N15: New water connection from January 19 to January 22. Parking will be suspended outside number 2. The disabled bay outside numbers 3 to 4 will be relocated to numbers 8 to 9, and parking from numbers 6 to 9 will be suspended for gang to park and put spoil.
The provisions of the Orders shall apply only at such times and as directed by traffic signs. For road closures, alternative routes will be directed by traffic signs. Access will be maintained where possible.
Enfield: Transport Restrictions for Highway Works
In Enfield, essential highway works will result in temporary restrictions on several roads in 2026.
Barnard Road EN1 and Mapleton Road EN1: Road closures will take place at their respective junctions with Brick Lane on a phased basis, effective from January 12 for eleven weeks.
Queensway EN3: Phased waiting and loading restrictions will be in effect along the entire road from January 5 for eleven weeks.
Kingsway EN3: The road will close at the junction with Southbury Road and Queensway for approximately 40 metres. The one-way system between Southbury Road and Queensway will also be revoked for the duration of the works, starting February 4 for seven weeks.
The Broadway N9: Northbound cycle lane closure approximately 30 metres southwards from the leisure centre, from January 5 for two weeks. Cyclists will be required to dismount and walk the length of the closure or join the main carriageway.
Farndale Road N13: A waiting and loading restriction will be in place for one week from January 5, outside number 135 and for approximately 10 metres on either side.
Enfield: Introduction of Disabled Parking Bays
From January 12, 2026, Enfield Council will introduce two new disabled parking spaces on Firs Lane, N21.
The bays, located adjacent to the wetlands visitor entrance, will operate at all times with a maximum stay of two hours and a no return period of one hour.
They are to be positioned on the eastern kerbline of Firs Lane, from five metres north of the boundary between homes 249 and 251, extending 14 metres south.

Haringey: Extension of Parking and Loading Bay Hours on Earlham Grove
Haringey Council has extended existing parking and loading bay hours outside George Meehan House, N22, effective from December 18, 2025.
The new operational hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm and Saturday, 9am to 5pm (formerly Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 4.30pm).
The extension applies to a pay-by-phone bay and a loading-only bay.
Barnet: Licence Application for Lezzet Restaurant
A premises licence application has been submitted to Barnet Council by Zdravko Todorov Todorov to allow the supply of alcohol at Lezzet Restaurant, 361 Ballards Lane, N12 8LJ.
If approved, alcohol can be served on the premises from 11.30am to 11pm daily.
Late-night refreshments will also be permitted from 11pm to 1am, Sunday to Thursday, and from 11pm to 2am on Friday and Saturday.
Representations must be made in writing to the Licensing Team, London Borough of Barnet, 8th Floor, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, NW9 4EW by December 30, 2025.
Camden: Licence Application for Kentish Town Off Licence
Mr Jatin Singh Ahuja has applied to Camden Council for a premises licence permitting the sale by retail of alcohol at Kentish Town Off Licence, 283 Kentish Town Road, NW5 2JS.
If granted, alcohol may be sold off premises from 8am to 11pm, Monday to Saturday, and from 10am to 10.30pm on Sunday.
Written representations must be submitted to Camden Licensing Authority by January 7, 2026.
