Roman Holder-Waterman, 20, is wanted for recall to prison since breaching the conditions of his licence on September 24 last year.
He was initially arrested on suspicion of robbery offences in Hornchurch.
The Metropolitan Police says he is known to frequent both areas in Hornchurch and Dagenham, which is where he has family links.

Months after he breached his condition, police have shared out an appeal on social media looking for the wanted man.
Anyone who knows of his whereabouts or who has information which could help with the search is asked to call police on 101, quoting 01/176222/24.
