Police were called to a crash between a car and a cyclist in Salter Street, Poplar, just after 10am yesterday morning (April 11).
London Ambulance Service (LAS) treated the cyclist at the scene before rushing her to hospital.
A LAS spokesperson provided a different location for the incident – Westferry Road – which intersects with Salter Street by Westferry DLR station.
According to police, Salter Street was shut while emergency services worked at the scene.
The Met has confirmed this afternoon (April 12) that the woman’s condition is not life-threatening or life-changing.
No arrests had been made at the time, with police enquiries descried as “ongoing”.
