Tu’s director of product, Melinda Harris, says: “As a parent myself, I understand the importance of making the back-to-school experience as smooth as possible for both kids and adults.
“At Tu, we prioritise providing our customers with a wide range of choices and durable school uniforms that can withstand daily wear and tear. We are also committed to keeping our offerings affordable for families, and we are proud to have maintained our school uniform prices for the third year in a row.”
Tu’s latest school uniform range starts at £3 for a 2 pack of white polo shirts, and the supermarket giant says it has the “durability to withstand playground adventures and busy school days.
“Uniforms feature perfect colour retention, using advanced technology to maintain colour and whiteness, as well as permanent pleats and creases.”
There are also scuff-resistant shoes, designed to keep looking newer for longer and trousers with reinforced knees. Some are also made with stain-resistant fabrics to keep them looking fresh and clean.

Ranges are designed to be durable enough to pass down to siblings or friends to be re-worn, and ‘dress with ease’ options are also available, replacing traditional buttons with touch-and-close fasteners and including ‘pull-on’ styles.
Tu is the sixth largest clothing retailer in the UK by volume, and one of the biggest suppliers of school uniforms.
Tu Clothing’s full school uniform offering starts from £3 and is available at Tu.co.uk or Argos.co.uk and in selected Sainsbury’s stores.
