The man went by the names Sanch or the nickname Stains, according to tributes shared on TikTok.
Police were called to a stabbing outside a row of shops in Rushey Green just after 3am yesterday (October 15).
The man was found injured near Catford Food Centre, before he was taken to hospital for treatment where he died.
Dozens of people shared heartbreaking messages online following the brutal attack.
One person said: “RIP my brother, I’m so lost without you.”
Another person said the stabbing was “so meaningless and senseless”.
She also said on TikTok read: “RIP Sanch and deepest condolences to your family at such a tragic and sad time.”
Commenters on TikTok gave brief messages such as “RIP SANCH” and “RIP Stains”.
Shortly after at around 8am, emergency services were called to reports of a stabbing in Farley Mews near Mountsfield Park.
A man was treated at the scene and rushed to hospital where his condition is unknown at this stage.
No arrests have been made in either incidents.
It is also unclear at this time whether these two incidents are linked.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police told the News Shopper that enquiries are ongoing into these circumstances.
