The football pundit and former Arsenal player was reportedly in talks to fly out to Australia to take part in the latest series of the reality programme.
It was claimed that she was interested in joining this year’s cast to show a different side of herself to the public.
Now, Alex has dropped a major hint that she’ll be competing to become Queen of the Jungle after sharing a mirror selfie with fans.

In the Instagram post, the former professional footballer showed three love notes stuck to a mirror by her girlfriend Jess Glynne.
The first love note read: “Alex, I love you,” with the other two reading: “Forever and ever” and “See you soon!”
Last month, a source told The Sun: “Alex loves pushing herself out of her comfort zone, and where better to do it than the jungle?
“The public knows her as a sportswoman and a serious broadcaster, so she thinks she can show people a side to her that they’ve never seen before.
“Alex is game for anything and is a tough cookie, so she’s ready for anything that gets thrown at her — literally.”
There are reportedly a number of huge names in talks to take part in the 2025 series of I’m A Celebrity, including soap opera actresses Shona McGarty and Lisa Riley.
YouTuber Morgan Burtwistle, who is known as Angrygringe, Irish model Vogue Williams and political pundit Nick Ferrari have also been touted as potential ITV contestants.
Familiar faces like Ant and Dec will also be returning to the programme once again.
