Damien Kowalski, 29, and Kacper Reszka, 21, were jailed for a combined total of over 20 years on July 18.
The pair from Barn Mead in Harlow robbed three homes in September 2024 within a number of hours.
Essex Police was called to two violent robberies on houseboats, first on September 1 and then 10 hours later on September 2.
Around 1pm on September 2 a third robbery took place, this time in Hoddesdon.
The pair were arrested at the scene in Hoddesdon by Hertfordshire Police officers and further arrested a few hours later after Essex Police detectives identified Kowalski was linked to the Roydon robberies.
This was confirmed when he was spotted in hospital by one of his victims, who was receiving treatment for his own injuries from one of the Roydon incidents.
Essex Police Detective Inspector Karen Knibbs said: “These robberies were extremely violent and happened at the victims’ homes, where they should feel safe.
“We will not tolerate this type of criminality.
“By working closely with our colleagues in Hertfordshire, sharing intelligence and information, we ensured these defendants were charged and brought before the courts.
“There are no borders when it comes to investigating crime.
“The teams from both forces were relentless and their hard work left the pair with no option but to admit their guilt.”
Detective Constable Denny Brandon from Hertfordshire Police said: “I’m pleased significant sentences have been given to these men for three robberies carried out in quick succession.
“Our enquiries allowed us to quickly arrest them in Hoddesdon and bring them to custody.
“We thank the victims for their bravery in supporting the investigation and I hope the sentencing provides reassurance that we take these types of offences extremely seriously and always do all in our power to bring offenders to justice.”
At Cambridge Crown Court on July 18, Kowalski, was sentenced to 18 and a half years having pleaded guilty to three robberies, one count of wounding with intent and another of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He was jailed for 14 and half years with an extended licence of four years.
Reszka was sentenced to six years’ imprisonment after pleading guilty to three counts of robbery.
