Royal Mail said that delivery and collection services will take place across the UK on Wednesday, April 23, but some local offices may be unable to deliver due to “local issues” such as sickness.
In these cases, Royal Mail said they “will rotate deliveries to minimise the delay to individual customers.”
They also assured customers that targeted support will be provided to the affected offices.
Royal Mail said: “We’re sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
“We will regularly update customers on the offices most impacted.”
New Malden delivery office is one of the offices that will be affected.
