Sales company Property Solvers tracked the average sold price data from HM Land Registry since 2020 to see where the highest and lowest-priced homes are located across the Romford postcodes.

Streets were only included in the data if they had three or more houses sold in the past five years.

Links Avenue was named the most expensive street in Romford with five properties being sold since 2020 for an average of £1,318,000.

Links Avenue was also named as the most expensive street in Romford in July last year with average house prices reaching £1,484,000.

Broadway was the second most expensive street with three properties selling for an average of £1,313,333 whilst Harrow Drive (RM11 1NT) also saw three properties sold for an average of £1,260,000.

Harrow Drive (RM11 1NX) saw six homes sold for an average of £1,207,666 and Parkway saw the fifth most expensive average property sale since 2020 with £1,156,250 being averaged from four homes.

At the other end of the spectrum, Merritt House (Frazer Close) saw 12 properties sold for an average of £117,079 – the cheapest in Romford.

Five houses were sold in Fernleigh Court in the last five years for £119,000 and six were sold in Admiral Lodges (Western Road) averaging £129,783.

The fourth and fifth cheapest streets in Romford were Gibson Court (Regarth Avenue) with 16 properties sold for an average of £134,281 and Watermans (Junction Road) with 10 houses averaging £147,100.

Property Solvers co-founder Ruban Selvanayagam said: “To keep the data less skewed, we only ranked the streets that had over three sales.”
