Photos show the on-the-ground props in the front garden of the house dubbed ‘Romford Wonderland’ in Pettits Lane.
The home, owned by the Grange family, has been extravagantly decorated each year for Christmas since they moved in 11 years ago.

The display is complete and this year includes some new props as well as the regular Christmas lighting.
Props include snowmen, polar bears wearing scarves, a penguin and Father Christmas riding a motorbike.
There are also two human-sized frames for visitors to pose in for photos.

The huge, lit-up igloo has returned from last year with a bench inside for visitors to sit on.
Ian spoke to the Recorder in November and said this year’s display would be “similar to last year’s but with some extra bits as well”.

He added: “We’ve got a walk-through, lots of lights, props for people to take selfies with, a big igloo as well.
“There’s loads of photo opportunities which people tend to love really.”

Ian intended to launch an official opening event on Saturday (December 6) with live music and potentially hot food for sale but received a letter from Havering Council asking him to contact it urgently to discuss logistics for the event.
Arrangements were required regarding licenses, parking, and emergency vehicle access.

Ian deemed it easier to cancel the event entirely.
“I am disappointed in all honesty,” he told the Recorder.
“I’m not stupid – I understand why they’re doing it but I am upset about it.
“It was just something I was doing for the good and I didn’t realise how much it could have been bad for somebody else.
“It is what it is really, that’s life unfortunately.”

The light set-up is finished and will still be turned on from around 4pm until 11.30pm each day over the festive period and Ian is eager for people to still come along and enjoy the attraction when they can.
The family will still be taking donations for Lime Academy Ravensbourne as they did last year.
This is a special educational school in Neave Crescent which Ian’s daughter Kayleigh attends.
