The Metropolitan Police was called to Romford Road at 3.23pm yesterday (September 6) with reports of an injured person.
At the scene, a woman in her 40s was located.
She has been taken to hospital and continues to receive treatment for potentially life-threatening and life-changing injuries.

The Metropolitan Police has launched an investigation and enquiries are ongoing.
